Judge Bill Jones Memorial Scholarship Fund

Applications are now closed.
Please check back in January 2024 for our next scholarship

Judge Bill Jones was a visionary District Court Judge who worked tirelessly to improve the conditions for North Carolina’s at-risk youth and protect the rights of young people caught up in the legal system. Just as he strived to encourage and empower at-risk youth, The Arts Empowerment Project seeks to continue his mission by making enriching arts opportunities more accessible for our students.

The Judge Bill Jones Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to fund at-risk students seeking to pursue private study, special training, or personal advancement in most areas of an arts-related field. This includes student participation in things such as visual and performing arts workshops, classes, camps, production, research opportunities, and more!
